Farmer Experiences
Ever wondered what it would be like to look after the animals here at White Post Farm? Here's a wonderful way to find our more.
Our special Farmer Experiences give you the chance to see how a real farm works and become a Farmer or Keeper for a few hours. With no age limit, we cater each one to the individual, so whether you are 6 years old or 60 years old, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
You can choose join the Farm team or the Exotics team for your experience. Here's a few of the activities that may be included:
Farmer experience - suitable for children age 3 plus.
Pet and farm animal feeding; Handling and enrichment; Grooming and walking ponies or goats or alpacas; Poo pick farm animal paddocks; Collecting eggs
Exotics Keeper experience - suitable for children age 5 plus.
Wallaby feeding and cleaning out; Handling and enrichment; Meerkat feeding; Armadillo meet and greet; Tour of Reptiles of the World.
You will receive your own White Post Farm notebook with pen and a drink with snack at break time.
As the experience often involves going behind the scenes, access will be limited to the participants only. For Farmers under the age of 18, we ask that a responsible adult accompany the child to assist with adhering to all the guidance and safety instructions provided.
